OK, lots of you know that Splitcoast stampers had a virtual stamp night last weekend. I only had time to do a couple of the challenges. It is too late for any of the prizes but I posted them anyway. Just love doing challenges and I will be going back and try my hand at doing more of them. Gotta come up with the time to participate more often. Had a project that is coming due soon and have been spending a lot of time getting it finished but I am close now and hoping that I can do Tracy's sketch challenge and Glenda's challenge next week. Yay!
I was preparing for my Spring into Easter class at Endless creations, when an idea popped into my head. That happens to me a lot! I was thinking about Lyndsay's class tonight and playing with my peep stamp at the same time and what do you think happened? You got it, googly eyes for the peep! Funny how that stuff happens, isn't it? Anyone ever seen the movie Working Girl? Do you remember the scene where she is talking about her big idea and she says, "I thought, Trask, radio, Trask, radio"? Well, that was me saying peep, googly eyes, peep, googly eyes!!! Had just enough time to get it done before I need to dig in on some other projects. I have a lot to catch up on since I have been gone much of the month of February.
I met June! Isn't she gorgeous? We had a wonderful time at lunch talking all about our A Muse addiction and ribbon and life. I feel so lucky to have met her IRL. She brought her daughter along and she was just the sweetest! Thank you June for driving up to have lunch with me and for buying that great dessert!
My new stamps are here and I can't believe how cute they are! I really HAD to get at least one card on paper before I get to the day at hand. Playing with new stamps takes priority today. It is still snowy here so I thought making a colorful Springy card would fit the bill. Make sure you check out all the new images here on the A Muse website. Guess I better get busy and start checking things off my "to do" list.
Guess it is time to post my winter birthday card. Sent this card to all the winter birthday gals on the A Muse lounge. Hope they all had a great birthday! Don't know if you can tell but I used a tooth pick for the banner pole. Thought it would add just a little something to the card. Don't forget to check out all the sneak peeks on the blogs of other A Muse instructors and designers. There are some really fun cards out there!
If you want to see one of the cutest new A Muse stamps ever, get over to their website and take a look at their new bunny! She is just precious. Will be posting some new cards as soon as my stamps arrive.
This is Kelly in the morning! She didn't want her picture taken, so I said I was going to take it and post it on my blog! Ain't I a bad mom? We are having fun driving her crazy and hope you all are staying warm. Will post more photos after I get home. The download time here is really long and we need to get back out on the beach.
As promised, here is the card I am making to send back to my family and friends back in the States. Had to make due with the supplies I brought with me but I thought it turned out pretty good. We are enjoying our time on the island and continue to have great weather. Will be back soon with some more vacation photos.
